Dedicated in November of 1987, the Woody Hayes Facility
was a big upgrade from the old "North Facility"
that the football team used prior. The building boasts
of an enormous weight room, team meeting rooms, a players'
lounge and coaches' offices, as well as an indoor practice
facility with a regulation-sized field.
You can also find team pictures from every Buckeye
squad there, as well as team and individual awards.
The 2002 National Championship trophy is prominently
displayed in the center of the lobby.
Several other OSU sports, such as baseball, softball,
lacrosse, soccer and field hockey also use the Woody
Hayes Facility. The university is currently raising
funds for improvements. In January of 2006, the Ohio State University broke ground on the renovation of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center giving OSU the finest practice facility in college football.
