National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholarship
Winners
The National Football Foundation awards scholarships to
the top 13 seniors in college football based upon combined
excellence in athletics and academics. The reward is an
$18,000 grant for graduate work. Since 1964, Ohio State
has had 19 recipients.

VIncent dePaul Draddy Award
The top senior of the 13 selected each year for the National
Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholarship Winners
receives the Vincent DePaul Draddy Award. Quarterbacks
Bobby Hoying (1995) and Craig Krenzel (2003) are the only
Big Ten players to achieve that coveted academic honor.

A Rhodes Scholarship is a distinguished academic award
bestowed upon an individual who exudes excellence in academics
as well as service. Only 32 scholars are chosen from across
the United States to receive the honorable scholarship.

GTE / CoSIDA Academic Hall of Fame
The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)
honor former scholar-athletes who distinguished themselves
through their professional careers and community service.
All candidates have to be an Academic All-America team
awardee who graduated 10 years or more ago, or fall into
the established honorary category.
