Coach Tressel's first win as a college coach came against Tennesee Tech, on Oct, 11th 1986. The score was 30-6.
Coach Tressel's winning percentage at OSU is .814.
Coach Tressel is the only person in the history of the American Football Coaches Associastion to win the Coach of the Year Award at two different schools.
For the '81 and '82 season, Coach Tressel served as the quarterbacks' coach at Syracuse.
