FAST FACTS

Coach Tressel grew up shagging balls for Cleveland Browns great Loe "The Toe" Groza.
Tressel graduated from Berea High School in 1971.
In his second season as YSU head coach, Tressel led the Penguins to a 8-4 record and was named the Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
In 1979 and 1980, he served as the quarterbacks' and recievers' coach at Miami of Ohio.
